Scoor House Holiday Accommodation
Scoor has a variety of good quality accommodation available year round - from cosy farmhouse flats (sleeping 1 - 6 people) to larger cottages (sleeping 6-8). During the busiest season, the properties are usually let from Saturday to Saturday, however off season we also do nightly/weekend rates.
We are particularly popular with large groups and families who like to book several properties so that they can holiday together
Facilities
All the properties are fully-equipped with all you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Fresh bed linen is provided at the start of your stay and each week of your visit. All electricity for the properties is supplied on a metered basis. A reading is taken on arrival and at the end of your stay. The electricity is charged at standard Scottish Hydro rates and the bill is settled before departure.
There is a communal utility room where all guests have the complimentary use of a large freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and indoor drying facilities. Outdoor drying facilities are also available. We provide eco-friendly cleaning products free of charge. The grassy areas around Scoor House and the cottages, including a large walled garden, provide a safe playing area for children. Please feel free to bring your outdoor games and barbeques.
Mobile phone reception can vary at Scoor. At the moment O2 and Vodafone provide the best coverage. A payphone is available for guest use in the entrance hall of the main farmhouse. This can also receive incoming calls.

Cnoc Mor
Cnoc Mor is a top floor apartment in Scoor House. It has a large picture window with a built-in seat for relaxing and taking in the magnificent views to the sea on one side and Loch Assapol on the other. A newly fitted kitchen is an added feature of this cosy property. Sleeps 4.
Facilities: Living room with kitchen/dining area, bathroom (bath with shower), two twin rooms – one with 2 single beds (can be made into a double) and one with 2 large bunk beds.

Laggan
Laggan is located on the ground floor of Scoor House and is comfortably furnished to provide an excellent base for exploration. It has large picture windows with views across the garden and fields to the sea and loch beyond. Sleeps 5.

Cruachan
Cruachan is a spacious top floor apartment with a large living room/kitchen/dining with magnificent sea views from two aspects and an open fire. The apartment sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms which also have lovely views across the fields.

Shiaba
Shiaba is similar to Cruachan is size and style and is located on the ground floor of Scoor House. Once again the property has a delightful outlook which can lift the spirits whatever the weather. Sleeps 6.

Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is a picturesque white cottage (adjacent to the main house). Set in its own lovely garden, the property has a loft conversion with a dormitory style bedroom which is very popular with children. The enclosed garden is an ideal place for younger children and pets to play safely or for adults to enjoy outdoor entertaining. Garden Cottage is non-smoking. Sleeps 8.
Facilities: Large living room with kitchen/dining area, large bathroom (bath with shower), one dormitory loft room with 4 single beds, two twin rooms (singles can make doubles), one small bunk bed (suitable only for small children).

Shepherd's Cottage
Shepherd’s Cottage is a traditional (1 ½ storey) detached property set in its own garden. All rooms have panoramic views of the sea and the islands beyond. The cottage has its own driveway and parking area and is in a secluded location about 5 mins walk from Scoor House. It is fully equipped and very comfortably furnished with plenty of room for 6 guests.
Facilities: One large living room with open fire, separate large kitchen/dining with wood burning stove, spacious bathroom (bath and handheld shower), one double room , one large room with 2 single and 1 bunk bed and one single room.

OPEN ALL YEAR – rentals are on a weekly basis during the summer season from 4pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday. During the winter, nightly or weekend stays can be arranged.
